I used to collect #nationalgeographic trading cards of the space program and I remember studying the ones of John Glen and #friendship7 I can’t imagine the guts it takes to be the first #American to orbit the #Earth. A #usnavy #pilot, an #astronaut, a #Us #Senator, then oldest human to go to space… an incredible life of serving our country #godspeed #johnglenn
