There was a time I would do this ride in ~3 hours and come home and mow the lawn. Today I thought several times of just laying on the side of the trail to sacrifice myself to to local mountain lions… good grief, I don’t think I’m even in “bad shape”, but definitely not anywhere close to what I used to be! .
